Indulge in our take on beef bulgogi. Thin slices of beef are marinated to perfection in a sweet sesame sauce, and are then grilled and served over rice and veggies with a spicy sriracha sauce... this is a meal that everyone will devour!

Cook the rice

Cook the rice

In a pot, bring the rice and 1.5 cups of salted water (double for 4 ppl.) to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce the heat to low and cook for 12-14 min or until all water has been absorbed.

Prepare the ingredients

Peel the carrot and cut it in julienne sticks. Slice the green onion. With a peeler, slice the cucumber. Chop the garlic.

Marinate the meat

In a bowl, mix the sesame seeds, the green onions, the garlic, the pre mixed soy & mirin sauce, the water for sauce, the sesame oil and 2 Tbsp. of the white sugar (double for 4 ppl.).

Put beef in and let marinate a few minutes.

Prepare the carrots

Prepare the carrots

In a pan, heat the rice vinegar with remaining sugar over high heat. Add carrots and cook for about 2 minutes until most liquid has evaporated. Remove from pan.

Cook the meat

Cook the meat

In the same pan over medium high heat, pour beef with sauce. Cook until beef is cooked, stirring often, about 5 minutes.

Assemble and serve

Mix the yogurt with the sriracha.

On a plate, put rice, veggies and beef with sauce. Serve with the spicy yogurt.
