Prepare the ingredients
Slice bell peppers into strips. Finely chop Thai pepper and onion. Peel and dice potato. Cut the fish into big pieces.
Start the stew
In an oiled saucepan, sauté onion, turmeric and flour for 1 minute over medium-high heat.
Add the peppers
Add the bell peppers and Thai pepper (
to your taste-spicy !)and cook 3-4 more min.
Add other ingredients
Stir in potatoes, tomatoes (and their juices), coconut milk and water to the saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 20 min.
Finish the stew and serve
Poach the fish in the coconut milk stew for 5 min. Serve the stew in bowls.
